  • Say "Hi" to a stranger
    • Greeting someone you don't know will bring up the feelings of friendliness and compassion, releasing the stress.

  • Write a letter to a far away friend
    • Writing to an old friend will bring back all the good memories associated with your time together. You will just forget about all the stress.

  • Teach a kid to fly a kite
    • Playing with children, teaching them something, will make you feel playful and innocent again. When you are in this state, stress cannot stay.

  • Volunteer to clean a nearby park
    • Doing some voluntary service activity will make you feel good and happy. It will also enlarge your vision and reduce the significance of the problems you have.

  • Say something nice to someone
    • Complimenting someone, or expressing your gratitude towards someone will raise your mood and make you feel grateful. The stress will just disappear.

  • Pet your pet
    • Playing with your pet, giving it your full attention, will bring you back to a natural, simple state. All the complications which are causing stress in your life will go on the background, freeing you from the stress.

  • Feed the birds
    • Feeding the birds will bring up the feeling of compassion in you, and will help you to see life from a more global perspective. The problems will become small and insignificant, not worth to worry or get stress about.
